Research has shown that remaining socially engaged improves the quality of life for older adults and is associated with better health.

n4a recently received a grant from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) to establish the EngAGED: National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults to support the Aging Networks role in foster social engagement of older adults through intergenerational programming, utilization of technology, fostering participation in the arts, encouraging lifelong learning and involvement in volunteerism.

Join n4a, NCCA and its partners to learn about new strategies your agency can use to engage older adults, learn about new resources that can help your engagement efforts and discuss social engagement opportunities and challenges in your community.
