Columbus Museum Of Art Sparks Imagination With Special Alzheimer's Tour
The Columbus Museum of Art has been hosting older adults with Alzheimer’s and their caretakers with their Sparkling Imagination Tour. The goal of the program is to create an environment where these people feel welcome and are intellectually stimulated. Hopefully, the art exposure triggers some neurons in their brain and helping them recover some of the memories they’ve lost or even create new ones. "It's a place where they can leave the disease outside and come in and have a really fantastic experience," said Harry Laufman, museum docent.
