Memory Screenings and ‘Beautiful Minds’ at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health

In honor of National Memory Screening Day, an initiative of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health offered free public screenings on November 19. Although the scans give some information  on brain health, the idea behind them is to raise awareness and spark discussion about brain disorders. The goal is to decrease the negative stigma surrounding cognitive disorders and to better equip people to deal with a diagnosis as well as learn how to decrease the risk.
