Creative Aging Ambassadors
Creative Aging Ambassador program was born out of feedback from our members to have more locally based creative aging events that would help to mobilize and expand the impact of our field. Being a Creative Aging Ambassador means volunteering to lead a local chapter of the National Center for Creative Aging. The Ambassador will represent his/her city by leading a team and organizing local creative aging network opportunities and events throughout the year with the support of NCCA in Washington, D.C. Along the way, the NCCA will help support the Ambassadors with monthly calls and other types of technical and leadership support. In turn, the Ambassadors will be given perks such as free VIP ticket to our 2018 conference and national exposure on our site and quarterly newsletter.
Are you ready help to the National Center for Creative Aging expand and strengthen our national creative aging movement? Then please consider becoming an ambassador and starting a local Creative Aging Chapter.
You can download more information here about what being an ambassador entails and if you’re interested, you can download the application here. Even if you think it isn’t for you, and we get it, please still check out the information. Maybe there is another role you can play if a chapter is formed in your community, and the NCCA would be interested in knowing that as well.
